A very well executed and highly decorative ‘Angel of the Annunciation’, after the original by Carlo Dolci (1616-1686) in the Palazzo Pitti, Florence.
Painted by a talented, but unknown Florentine artist and follower of the famous Baroque painter Carlo Dolci.
Presented in a superb carved giltwood Florentine frame, late 18th c.
