Miss Molly Maurice Latham was an equestrian artist who was painting in the manner of Sir Alfred James Munnings (1878-1959) in the 1930’s.
She lived in the village of Clayton near Hassocks, East Sussex, and painted studies of horses, horse racing, and hunting scenes in the Home Counties between 1930-1938.
Latham is a rare equestrian artist and this delightful work clearly shows the influence of Sir Alfred Munnings.
