George Hann was a 20th century British artist who worked in an impressionistic style with evident French influence. He worked from studios in Chelsea and Brighton.
He is known for his London scenes particularly those of the Thames.
However much of his working life was also spent in Paris and other French towns.
This lovely early work by Hann, circa 1940’s shows the artist in his most impressionist style.
