Alfred de Breanski jnr painted Scottish mountain scenes, especially highland lochs in morning light and at sunset in a manor similar to his fathers, but courser and broader in handling. He studied in Paris under Whistler and Pissarro. Exhibited at the Royal Academy.
A very good early work by Breanski jnr, with fabulous effects of light, and clearly influenced by Pissarro’s tuition.
